Minnesota Vikings at Baltimore Ravens 12/25/05

Well, the playoffs are now out of the question.  And that's okay, I mean, did we really think that we were going to run the table and make it to the playoffs, let alone succeed in the playoffs?!?  The Vikings have had a pretty good recovery from their 2-5 start, we should really give credit to the players who have contributed to the success of the team.  BIG congratulations to Koren Robinson and Darren Sharper who were chosen for the pro Bowl.  Antoine Winfield and Pat Williams should have been chosen to go too.  I still think we need a head coaching change here in MN.  Coach Tice has gotten us to where we are now, but let's face it, he's not the coach that is going to get us to the Super Bowl and isn't that the ultimate goal of any fan?   Coach Tice recently complained after the Pittsburgh game about the Vikings seats in the Metrodome that were scalped to the Steeler fans, isn't that a bit hypocritical after scalping Super Bowl tickets?

Okay, well on to the other divisional score cards: Duh-Troit won 13-12 over a hapless San Antonio Saints, pretty much a boring game with boring teams and boring players.  Yawn!

Chicago won the NFC North Division after they beat the packers.  Let's all congratulate the Bears on their Division win, and a game win over the ever so pathetic green bay packers.  But before we celebrate another green bay loss, repeat that, another green bay loss.  We have to remember that we would like to start 2006 with a win over the Bears.  Skol Vikings Skol!

green bay, and more specifically, brett favre, threw another game away.  STILL the leader in interceptions by far!  Currently brett has thrown 28 INT's, Aaron Brooks is close with 17, but he's benched right now.  Let's see... The next closest is Eli Manning of the Giants, and he'd have to throw an NFL record 12 interceptions in one game in order to surpass favre, that is if favre doesn't throw any more INT's.  Say good bye to favre, green bay packer fans, this is his last year.  Oh, and by the way, didn't we welcome you to a lindy infante season?!?
